Fit Snack ~ April 2015
Fit Snack is a subscription box that features a curated selection of snacks that can be easily incorporated into any diet.
They have a set of guidelines that help them choose items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Basically, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Each month will contain 6 to 9 healthy items that have total retail value of at least $30. While most of the items fall into the “snack” category, they also send cooking mixes, and oils.
PRICE: $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. They also ship worldwide.
Here is what I got this month.

Mountain Blend is a mix of raw nuts/seeds (almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, peanuts), fruit (raisins & cranberries), and dairy-free chocolate.
Svelte ~ Shake Protein Drink.
They’re vegan, gluten-free, and made with organic ingredients. Each serving has an whopping 16 grams of protein.
Beanfields ~ Bean & Rice Chips.
Pico de Gallo bean and rice chips that are non-GMO verified, gluten free and vegan.
Musclewerks ~ D-Fine 8 Powder

Rani’s Yumi ~ Butter Oats Yum. Basically a granola bar in loose form.
Barney Butter ~ Almond Butter
Go Raw ~ Choco Crunch Sprouted Cookies.
These cookies are made without any added sugar, flour, oils, or animal products of any kind. They’re also 100% vegan and certified gluten free.

3B Box: Beauty Beyond Boarders ~ April 2015
3b (Beauty Beyond Boarders) is an awesome low priced K-beauty subscription service. I must add that there is a wait list. That’s how popular this bag/box is.
Each box contains a collection of 4-5 deluxe samples that are new or popular in Asia but hard to get your hands on. The products will change each month, and you’ll get to try new skincare, haircare, nail care, and cosmetic products. Sample products range from go-to brands such as Lioele, Etude House and Skinfood to high-end premium brands like SK-II, K, and Sulwhasoo.
PRICE: $12 Includes shipping.
The contents came in a purple organza bag inside of a bubble envelope.
Be sure to keep your info card. It lists and describes all items in English.
Innisfree ~ Bija Sheet Mask. 3-layer artificial silk mask uses Bija Oil, tangerine peel extract, green tea extract, and other botanicals to gentle soothe irritated and acne-prone skin while energizing lackluster tired skin. 3-layered mask stays moist for longer to allow for maximum pampering and time for essences in the mask to seep deep within the skin.
They are starting to become my favorite masks.
Skin Food ~ Silicon Cleansing Pad. This new popular method uses tiny bristles to invigorate the skin and clean out pores.
TonyMoly ~ Aquaporin Moisture Foam Cleanser. I am so happy that I got this instead of the snail cream others are getting. Not a fan of snail products. I like that this is paraben free.
Benton ~ Aloe BHA Skin Toner. For all skin types. Contains snail mucin though.
Benton ~ Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel. 80% aloe for super hydration.
The Innisfree totally made this bag for me. 🙂 I’m also looking forward to trying the cleansing pad. I’ll skip the snail goop though.
I paid for this bag and all opinions are my own. MizD

I’ve been a subscriber to Nature Box for almost two years now. The only reason I cancel/resub is budget issues. I really love this box and how now you can pick upcoming snacks.
Here are the 5 treats I got in the deluxe package.
Dark Chocolate Berry Trail Mix ~ Dark Chocolate Chips, Cranberries, Pumpkin Seeds, Raisins, Dry Roasted Almonds, Sunflower Seeds, Dry Roasted Cashews, Organic Roasted Soy Nuts, Cherries, Pistachios, and Blueberries.
Aside from the soy nuts this trail mix is super yummy. I’m adding it to my like list in hopes of getting it again.
Coconut Cashews ~ These are also going on my like this. I ate the entire bag in one sitting!
South Pacific Plantains ~ These have sea salt and are super crunchy. I have never tried a regular plantain, but I sure love dried ones.
Dark Chocolate Pretzel Pops ~ Nothing beats dark chocolate goodness with salty pretzels! These little balls are SUPER yum!
Dark Cocoa Nom Noms ~ Rolled oats sweetened with a touch of honey and taken to new heights with dark chocolate. These are cookie like and very addicting.
I loved this month’s box and can’t wait for May. New treats are added monthly, but watch out for limited edition items. I try to get those right away.
I paid for this box and all opinions are my own. There are affiliate links in this post. MizD
Loot Crate ~ April 2015
Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box for Gamers & Geeks. Each box will have stickers, collectibles, apparel, tech gear, figurines, and other fun items. They promise a $40+ retail value every month.
PRICE: $19.95 this includes shipping.
I think I’m the only subscription addict who has not tried Loot Crate yet. I’m not a gamer or techy person and I try to stick to subs that appeal to me. My boyfriend begged me to try this out though. Yeah, we’ll be getting it again. 🙂
This month’s theme is “Fantasy”.
Here is what’s in this month’s box. Stuff my boyfriend will love.
- Loot Crate Magazine April 2015 No. 21 “FANTASY”
- Dungeons & Dragons T-Shirt
- Harry Potter Luggage Tag
- Inflatable Crown
- Exclusive RPG Bow Tie
- The Princess Bride Playing Cards
- Exclusive Game of Thrones USB Flash Drive
- Game of Thrones Magnet Set
- Loot Crate April 2015 Fantasy button pin
This is another box that just isn’t me. I paid for it though because my boyfriend is a Geeky Gamer 🙂
Geek Fuel ~ March 2015
Geek Fuel is a monthly gamer subscription box. Each month you’ll get games, toys, collectibles and other exclusive gear!
PRICE: $23.90 a month. Ships to US, UK and Canada
This month’s theme is Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones Comic Book. You’ll receive 1 of 5 editions. ($3)
WarMachine Tactics Downloadable Game Code & Sticker Sheet ($40) I’ve never heard of this game, but my boyfriend is excited to download and try it. It’s exciting that a gamer box actually gives you a game!
Dragon Glass ($?) I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know what this is. I’ve only just finished season one. Probably the only person in the world who isn’t a seasoned fan. I hope to get caught up this summer.
Darryll Jones Poster ~ A Special release from a Shorty Award winner.
Gears of War ~ Imulsion Energy Drink.
Exclusive Thrones of Games T-Shirt ~ Again, this box and shirt are geared toward my boyfriend. He snatched this out of the box as soon as the picture was taken.
This is a total unboxing without a real review. I’m not a gamer. I got this for my boyfriend. He loves it though so we’ll probably get getting it again after we try out some other Gamer subs. 🙂
I paid for this box, there are referral links. MizD
Beauty Joy Box ~ April 2015
Beauty Joy Box is new this year. They are a mix of cosmetics and jewelry. Each box will have one hand-curated jewelry item, one full size beauty item, and 2-3 deluxe samples.
PRICE: $15/month free shipping.
I love this box’s simplicity and curation.
Tocca ~ Body Cream in Cleopatra Crema da Corpo. 2oz ($4.50) This is listed as being a grapefruit/cucumber scent. I definitely smell the grapefruit. Not a fan of citrus, but this is nice.
Paul Mitchell ~ Awapuhui Wild Ginger Moisturizing Shampoo/Keratin Cream Rinse. ($3.25 ea) WOW for some reason Paul Mitchell has been lost to me. It reminds me of high school. It will be nice to use this again. I love the smell.
Two Faced ~ Sweet Sun Shined Lip Gloss. ($16) AHH I love Two Faced, but this Papaya Slushie shade is horrible. It’s a gloss so chances are it’s going to be sort of sheer, but I don’t want to open it and ruin it if it’s not.
Gemstone Bracelet ($8) The card does not list who the maker is. It’s cute and simple.
I’m really impressed with this box so far. For a new sub, I can’t believe that there is a full size product that retails for more than the box. Between last month and this month, the curation of brands has been wonderful.
I paid for this box and all opinions are my own. MizD
Glossybox ~ April 2015
One of my favorite things about Glossybox is their actual boxes. One of these days I’m going to take a picture of my collection. I’ve been a constant subscriber for almost 2 years now. Aside from the 2014 Holiday box, this box is my favorite. I mean, look at it!
Glossybox is a monthly subscription of pretty much high-end beauty products. Their info cards provide a really detailed description with tips and tricks on how to use the products included.
PRICE: $21 with free shipping.
COUPON: Use code LASHXTEND to get a free ModelCo’s LASHXTend mascara.
If you are an EBates member they are currently offering $2.75 cash back.
Aside from the box itself, the highlight of this month’s box is the Thursday Friday Make-up Pouch. I’m not sure what the value is. It’s not listed on the info card. I visited their website and similar items are around $35.
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics ~ Stained Gloss ($18) My shade is a wild pink called New Wave.
AERIN ~ Waterlily Sun perfume. ($19.41) “Sicilian bergamot and lush dewy greens, balanced with delicate waterlily, jasmine samba and warm musk”. I love it!
Julep ~ Gel Eye Liner in Olive. ($16) This is the second time in recent months that Glossybox has put Julep in their box. I’m not sure what to think of this. Perhaps it’s because Julep has their own sub box.
Estee Lauder ~ Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum. ($14.88) I am excited to try this. I’ve tried several dark spot correctors and nothing has worked yet.
Marrakesh ~ Endz Split End Mender & Preventer ($5.99)I don’t have split ends, but my hair can get frizzy. I like the smell, so I can’t wait to try it.
What a great month! It’s going to take a lot for Glossybox to top this box.
I paid for this box, all opinions are mine and there are affiliate links in this post. MizD
Color Me Monthly ~ March 2015
Color Me Monthly is a nail polish subscription service. You get one 16.5mL / 0.56 fl. oz. full size bottle each month. Their polish is toxin-free, cruelty-free, eco-friendly, vegan, non-toxic, carcinogen-free, and made in the USA.
PRICE: $7
I really like this subscription. Your color is a total mystery! Surprises are always fun and it seems that most of my boxes are so popular I get (Thank you Twitter/FB) spoilers.
This month’s color is Dublin. It’s a shimmery lime green and perfect for St. Patrick’s Day!
Here is a picture taken from the website. I never do this, but I can’t get a good picture of this polish!
Color Me Monthly graciously sent me this polish for review purposes. MizD
Kloverbox ~ April 2015
Kloverbox Is not a beauty box, but rather they send the best natural, cruelty-free and organic beauty, health, nutrition and home products. You’ll get to try affordable eco-friendly products, handpicked by our health conscious curators, so you can incorporate better products into every aspect of your life.
PRICE: $25/Month, $71.25 ($23.75 per box)/3Months and a 6 month subscription is $135 ($22.50) per box. Shipping is free!
I am kicking myself for not sharing this box with you for a while. It’s one of my absolute favorites. The curation is fabulous!
Rani’s Yummy ~ Shooters ($1.99) I got chocolate flavor buttered oats. YUM To me this is basically a crushed/broken granola bar. It was a nice energy boost.
Kosmatology ~ Foaming Hand Soap 8.5 oz Full size ($8.99) Orange sweetness scented paraben free soap. I’m not a huge citrus fan, but I like this. It’s lightly scented.
Old Orchard ~ No. 10 Baobab & Rosehip Lotion Bar. 2oz FULL SIZE ($28) I was excited to get this. I love lotion bars! I was so disappointed when a company I work for discontinued theirs. This is another citrus blend (hello spring!) that I don’t mind.
Real Beauty for a Cause ~ Coffee Scrub 20z ($7.50) I am a coffee addict in every way. One can never have too many cellulite-fighting body scrubs! 🙂
Bridge Nine Candle Co. ~ Soy Citrus Candle 40z ($9.00) Ok I’m not a fan of this citrus item. Bummed because I love candles. The tin is a keeper though.
*Replacement*There were questions about the Urban Oreganics toner we received last month so we were advised to trash it. Without skipping a beat Kloverbox sent a replacement item. I’m not surprised. They provide excellent customer service!
Urban Oreganics Brush Cleaner ($14) This is a solid brush cleanser. I’ve never seen/used a solid cleaner like this before. It is amazing! It seems less messy as well.
As always this box was a win for me. I am yet to be even slightly disappointed in Kloverbox. You should really give them a try.
I paid for this box and all opinions are my own. MizD
