Untoxicating Beauty ~ September 2014
Even though I cancelled, it wasn’t fast enough and they already processed September, which I didn’t get until a week ago. On that note I received an e-mail that they were going to put their subscription box part of their business on hiatus. They went on to say that they need to revamp it. Sorry to say, but I’m not shocked. I wish them the very best and if they fix their shipping issues and possible lower their cost I’ll be back. In the mean time, here is September’s box.
According to the information sheet this month is “Harmonic Hair Care, Part two of two”. The actual company brand is Intelligent Nutrients. Last month they didn’t let on that they would be sending products from the same brand two months in a row. Needless to say, I’m not happy.
Intelligent Nutrients Certified Organic Leave-In Conditioner 6.7oz ~ Value $31
Intelligent Nutrients Certified Organic Volumizing Spray, 6.7 fl oz ~ Value $31
I paid for this box and all grumpy opinions are my own. ~D
Untoxicating Beauty ~ August 2014
Untoxicating Beauty is a eco-friendly beauty subscription box. Unlike other subs that send a variety of brands, Untoxicating Beauty sends out several products from only one eco-friendly brand each month. It’s a great way to discover new brands! The only drawback is if you don’t like that brand. There is always trading! 🙂
PRICE: The Cost: $35 (Pay via PayPal)
After this month I cancelled. As you can see I barely got August. There shipping is a mess and it’s too much money to over look it.
Here is what I got for AUGUST.
Intelligent Nutrients Harmonic Conditioner – Value $26
Intelligent Nutrients Harmonic Shampoo – Value $24
Too upset to go into more detail other than these smell nice.
I paid for this and all opinions are mine ~D

I bet you’re wondering why I’m doing July went it’s almost the end of August. Well, I just got July’s box. They had a shipping snafu.
I got a sweet HANDWRITTEN not from the CEO. Along with all my usual information cards.
Anyway.. This month’s featured company is 100% Pure. I couldn’t be happier!
100% Pure Pomegranate Antioxidant Hydration SPF 20 Super light weight, fast absorbing anti-aging facial moisturizer.
Berry Brightening Facial Scrub Antioxident rich berries full of skin brightening acides and vitamins revive dull, skin damaged skin.
Then we got 100% Pure Luminous Primer with vitamins + antioxidants with resveratrol.
Aside from it being late, I love this box. I love 100% Pure Products!
July Retail Box = $92 + shipping
On each product, there is an open jar symb0l with a number on it. That number indicates how long you can use the product once it’s opened. Rather than using preservatives, 100% Pure uses natural preservatives such and anti-bacterial herbs and has several other unique proprietary technologies that distinguish the company from competitors.

Here is the inside of the box when I opened it. I was kind of alarmed because the box seemed wet. I was worried something leaked all over everything. That wasn’t the case. Just a tiny spill and wiped up. Nothing harmed or ruined. 🙂
Each box comes with a letter detailing the brand featured in the box and why it is “untoxicating.” This month they are featuring The Grapeseed Company.
The top card talks about the company. Mission statement, and such.
Lemon Cake Grapeseed Body Lotion ($19)
Lemon Cake Sugar Body Scrub ($18)
(Ok this is where if you don’t like something… I do not like anything lemon scented) My mom is on cloud 9 though. She loved lemon ANYTHING. She could smell the cake straight away. 😛
100% Pure Grapeseed Oil ($9)
Cali Sun Stick SPF 30 ($13) LOVE LOVE LOVE this. It’s unscented, but it has cocoa butter and coconut.
Travel size sample of the company’s Harvest Crush Syrah Wine Bar organic soap. smells FABULOUS!
The value of this box is $65. IMPRESSIVE. I’m going to keep subscribing. Just because I didn’t like everything doesn’t mean my family can’t enjoy my treats. (I should have saved the lemon stuff for Christmas! D’oh)
