postheadericon Untoxicating Beauty ~August 2014

So you don’t thin I’m lossing my mind:  Untoxicating Beauty has been a little behind on shipping boxes. This August box arrived today. (They did email though to let subscribers know about the shipping issues).

Untoxicating Beauty is a eco-friendly beauty subscription box. Unlike other subs that send a variety of brands, Untoxicating Beauty sends out several products from only one eco-friendly brand each month. It’s a  great way to discover new brands! The only drawback is if you don’t like that brand. There is always trading! 🙂

PRICE: The Cost: $35 (Pay via PayPal)

Each box comes with a letter detailing the brand featured in the box and why it is “untoxicating.” This month they are featuring Intelligent Nutrients.

Intelligent Nutrients Harmonic Conditioner – Value $26

Intelligent Nutrients Harmonic Shampoo – Value $24    OF course they are And of course I love that the line is gluten-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, etc. OH and I had to smell them!

Shampp00 reminds me of Listerine. Minty fresh.

Conditioner of of a spearmint. I bet they;d feel amazing my hair, I could get past the smell. A little tooo srtong got me

I paid for this box and all opinions are mine ~ D

postheadericon A&M Treasure Box

A&M Treasure Box is a brand new jewelry subscription co-founded by Anel & Michael, a full-time teacher and business man, who understand trying to keep up with the latest trends whilst living a fast paced lifestyle.

A&M offers two different subscriptions: their Glam Box for $27 and their Everyday Box for $22, which both contain 2-3 pieces of jewelry that retail $40-60 and $65-85 respectively.

They kindly sent me a Whoa Baby box to review. 🙂

I wish there was some sort of style quiz on their website when you subscribe, where you can specify the kinds of things you like, or at least the kinds of things you hate. They are still new so I’m hoping it will come with time…

I got cute Silver wishbone earrings. My not style, but they are cute! ($15.99)

The ring is not to my liking because it’s gold and I detest gold.($12.00) Not only that, it doesn’t fit any finger. 🙁

Long Bar Pendant Necklace ($25.00) Now for some strange reason, this is not me, but I really REALLY like it. I will be wearing it!

Over all this was a nice bag. I’ll be able to gift some of these items and be a hit. 🙂

Thank you A&M for sending this for me to review.

postheadericon Social Bliss ~ July 2014

After seeing fabulous boxes I decided to sub to Social Bliss.

“The Socialbliss Style Box consists an array of products each month that goes along with the theme that will improve your style monthly! “

PRICE: $47.90/month ($39.95/month + $7.95 shipping).

This month is about Summer Metallics.

Here is the booklet that lists whats in your box. I love the saying on the front. “Don’t ever let anyone dull your sparkle.”

I tried taking pictures of each item, but my lighting was horrible, so as usual I cheated and you’ll only get one picture.

Bombshell Jane ~ Body Chain Necklace. ($20.00) I can’t figure out how in the world to put this on. Its gold though so it will be traded.

Drop of Gold  ~ Bead Earrings: ($10.00) Again, I don’t do gold.

Oscar De La Renta Espirit D’Oscar Rollerball ($25.00) This has notes of Eqyptian jasmine and Iris as well as tonka bean & musk. I’m scared to open it. For fear I wont like it.

Fit-To-Flair Lashes ($2.00) Comes with glue, but I don’t have the patience to put every strand on. YIKES!

Below all the good is a beautiful Malie Bianco clutch. ($110.00) I love it, BUT uhh its gold. I’m going to gift it to someone who will REALLY appreciate it.

The total value of this box was $167.00!

So while everything as beautiful and stylish in this bag, it was all gold. Had it been silver that I would have been head over heals. $40 is a lot for something you don’t like. Unless I get a promo, I wont be getting this box again. 🙁

I paid for this box and all opinions are mine. ~D

postheadericon Try The World ~ Paris Box

Try The World is a bi-monthly subscription box that allows you to try products from around the world. They have a  team of travelers and local experts that curate a collection of products that best represent each country /city.

The first box starts in Paris.

PRICE: $45/Box

Boxes include not only delicious gourmet finds but a beautifully detailed card and booklet with pictures and  lots of product information, including how to use the products along with a history behind them. This booklet is actually a culture guide to France. Very interesting reading!

Here’s what was inside the Tiffany blue STURDY box. One I’ll be keeping.

La Palais Des Thes ~ Fine Teas. There are 5 bags, all different flavors, with names I can’t pronounce. 🙂 They can be enjoyed hot or cold.

1856 Klaus ~ Soft caramels. My card says something entirely different so I’m wondering if this is a substitute brand. No matter, I’m sure I’ll enjoy them thoroughly!

Les Confitures A L’Ancienne ~ Hot Chocolate Powder (x2) So excited to try this! The note says there is a blend of bourbon and vanilla in this powder!

Clovis France ~ Mustard. STRONG taste and not for me.

Clement Faugier ~ Chestnut Spread This puree of chestnuts & vanilla can be used alone or on top of cookies, toast or croissants. YUM

Le Saunier De Camargue ~ Fleur de Sel. “Flower of Salt”. Due to it’s scarcity and it’s labor-intensive production, it’s one of the most exclusive finishing salts.

Alain Milliat Orlienas ~ Jams in Wild Blueberry and Bergeron Apricot. They both say “Extra Jam” on the bottles. I’m not sure why.

Chabert & Guillot ~ Nougat (x2) Founded in 1848 this is a crazy popular treat throughout France.

Aside from the mustard, I love this box and can’t wait to try EVERYTHING. I can’t wait for the next box. It’s supposed to be from Toyoko. Has anyone received this box yet?

I paid for this box and all opinions are mine. ~D
