For Julep’s March  Mystery Box they offered 4 selections, each priced at $24.99. Three of the four boxes contained new green colors with a guaranteed value of $100 worth of nail and beauty products in each box. The fourth box was a 100% mystery and contained $100 worth of nail and beauty products.

Cupid’s Mystery Box was just too exciting for me to pass up!  I got Venus, Mani-Lover  (originally chose Aphrodite, but changed my mind.)  which was promised to be packed with $75 of mani-themed polish and product, including a bottle of Venus ~ Bombshell, a pink quartz holographic chunky glitter top coat.

Rock Star Hand Cream ($5.33) Travel size.

Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum ($22.40): I received this last Spring in my monthly Maven box. I love it so I was more than happy to get another one.  It’s kind of an expensive item and one I normally wouldn’t buy on my own, so it was a nice treat.

Freedom Top Coat ($14.40) I don’t care for Julep’s top coat. It tends to peel off within a few days.

February’s Julep Maven theme is “The Dramatic Collection”. They featured another new product, a creamy eye sheen, in four colors. I didn’t like the polishes that came with each so I chose It Girl.  It has polishes curated and named by Jay Z’s Roc Nation.

A nice little bonus that came with this month’s box was a BOGO code to be used on a polish for yourself and another polish for a friend.  The code is BEMINE and it is valid until March 1/14.

 

 

The first polish is an add on.  Amethyst for February ~ Rosa. It’s from their gold capped Birthstone Collection. Full-coverage multidimensional holographic glitter. Rosa is a glistening tribute to an inspirational woman whose light continues to shine, Rosa Parks. Born February 4.

Diamond Theory ~ described as a “full-coverage multidimensional copper glitter.” Pictures do NOT do it justice!

Roc Solid ~ described as a “vintage military crème.”

November’s Julep Maven theme is “Right at Home” and featured a full line of lip glosses and nail polishes. I went with  Modern Beauty this month. It featured a Blank Canvas Pumping Lip Primer and a sheer nude gloss. None of the polish colors grabbed me except one, that was an add on choice.

Julep Maven – A monthly box of beauty – your first one is FREE!

November 2013  Julep Maven collection debuts five new colors of Julep Lip Gloss. We’re pretty excited about these around the office. First of all, they’re so, so shiny. Secondly, they feel really good on your lips–they’re soft and hydrating. Not sticky or peely. Lastly, we haven’t yet found a color combination of skin tone + lip gloss shade that doesn’t look excellent. Here are the shades:
