I have mixed feelings about this month’s Beauty Box 5. Thanks to beauty boxes I will never have to pay for eyeliner again. 😉

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAUTY BOX 5!  This month they turn 1. Instead of the usual postcard that list the box contents, they gave out a cute little birthday card. It even had a poem.

I’m loving this month’s box.  Here is why…

The Brush Guard ~ Variety Pack. These handy little guards mean you’ll never have to worry about damaging your brushes while traveling.  Retail: $5.50 4/pack

Tree Hut ~ Shea Sugar Body Scrub (Mango) Retail: $7.40 18oz

H2O Plus ~ Bath Aquatics Shampoo. Smells pretty good actually. Retail: $14.00 8.5 fl oz

Coolway ~ Boost Infuse your hair with moisture and lock in the straightened style before you even get out of the shower. Retail: $39.95

I’m being lazy with my pictures. I was at work and rushed for time so I just snapped one. I hope you can see everything.

First up is a Solida Perfume stick by Perfumies. I love the concept, but the smell just didn’t grab me. It’s almost too older lady smelling. Its full size and retails for $7

Next is what the card touts is a “Surprise 2012 Favorite”.  Back do to popular demand and making a comeback in 2013 (I hope not) is It’s a 10 Miracle Hair Mask. To be honest the first time I got it, I have it away.

Ferro Cosmetics Desert Rose Blush. I’m excited to try this. I’m in the marker for a good blush. The card reads that it’s suitable for all skin tones. We’ll have to see.Full Size retails for $17

Pencil Me In ~ Eye Pencil in dark blue. I like how it has a built in sharpener. Retail$6.99

Model CO Colourbox Lip Pencil ~ Pomegranate. Also has a build in sharpener. Went on smooth and lasted quite a while. Retail $18

So this box wasn’t bad. With a value exceeding $50 for only $12 I got my money’s work. More so because I’ll be using most everything in the box or gifting it.

This months’ box is full of FULL-SIZE products! This is the most impressive BB5 box to date for me. I think they “hear” me when I keep threatening to cancel so they up the ante so I’ll stay. LOL

As you can see this month is very festive. The only thing missing is the usual confetti. I’m not bummed though. I’m tired of trying to keep my cats from eating it. Each time I open a box they flock like vultures!

The card this month not only has a list of what goodies you get, but a nice little note.

As we all settle in for the holiday season, we’d like to say thank you, because you’re our reason for packing these little blue boxes that rock and striving to be the top box on the block.

This months box saved BB5 from the chopping block. I’m actually looking forward to trying all but one sample. Here is what I got.

Global Goddess ~ Upgrade Complexion Face Primer. Full size 1.7oz $22.95

This primer has vitamins A & E to nourish, while anti-oxidants create a thin veil of protection for a silky finish while pearlescent pigments create a youthful glow. YaY I love primers. They make my face fill so soft and silky.

Envie De Nuef ~ Eye Mask. 10 sachets $30.00

This eye mask is supposed to reduce wrinkles, dark circles and stimulate cell turnover. I can’t wait to try it!

Cetaphile ~ Moisturizing Lotion. Full size 8oz $8.99

Model Co ~ Lip Shine “Tease”. $16.00.

Non-sticky, highly reflective, shimmering gloss. I got one, same color, from Birchbox. I really like it, it’s truly not sticky and lasts quite a while.

Swagger ~ Eyeshadow. $9.50. I love the shade of this VEGAN eyeshadow. I don’t know what the shade is called. It’s not on the postcard or on the container.
