April brings us “Love from the Sea to You! Malibu” featuring products from Osea Malibu.
I visited their website to get more insight because there is only so much you can put on a post card. I am beyond happy to share that Osea Malibu is free of animal by-products, gmos, gluten, nanomaterials, parabens, PEG compounds, petrochemicals, petroleum, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic color, and synthetic fragrances. There’s even more on the list -found on their site- such as being free of propylene glycol. Before I continue I wanted to share a wonderful quote that Osea had on their website.

When I got my box I realized it was heavy. It’s comforting because it tells me I’m not going to get a box full of tiny one use samples. Those subscriptions are slowly moving off my radar. So this is what I got after going crazy with the bubble wrap. I’m publicly apologizing to my cats. Meowmie is sorry she got carried away popping bubbles.
Each bottle (totally going to save and reuse these) was carefully wrapped.
SKIN TYPES: Normal, Dry, Combo, Sensitive. Scent: Fresh and clean.
A lightweight moisturizer that protects skin from dehydration and damage from environmental aggressors. The super emollient algae base ensures instantaneous absorption while the advanced blend of dermal proteins increases elasticity and leaves a matte, silky finish. An amazing, invisible base for makeup application.
The natural emollient properties of seaweed give this cream a uniquely light and silky texture. Vitamin E strengthens collagen and increases elasticity.
Directions: Apply day and night. For dryer skin types use Advanced Protection in the evening or apply Essential Hydrating Oil as a base. Can be blended with powder or liquid foundation for smoother makeup application. *I love how it absorbed quickly and I didn’t have to wait to apply other products.
OCEAN CLEANSER 60z Full Size, $42
Description: An OSEA classic, Ocean Cleanser is rich in minerals, algae, dermal proteins, vitamins, and mineral salts with a delightful natural fragrance. This multi-tasking hydrating formula effectively removes dirt and impurities, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and energized. Ocean Cleanser is free of chemical surfactants and great for easy makeup removal. pH balanced.
Red Algae is extremely high in microelements, proteins, vitamins, mineral salts and amino acids to gently cleanse the skin, allowing greater permeability without depleting the protective lipid barrier. Dermal proteins and amino acids stimulate collagen production and reduce effects of photo aging.
Directions: Use twice daily. Apply to damp skin in gentle, circular motions to remove dirt, oil and makeup. Rinse and follow with mineral mists, serum, and moisturizer. *I love the smell. It’s so refreshing and for lack of a better term, beachy!
SEA MINERALS MIST 1oz Travel Size, $16
Description: An ideal delivery system for healing nutrients and antioxidants, Sea Minerals promotes skin’s natural ability to absorb moisture and oxygenate. It’s so cooling and feels fabulous on my face!

This box is another win for me! Each box gets better and better and I am just amazing at all the wonderful products that Pearlesque founder Rochelle Truxal introduces us to. She is on to something and I foresee this box being around for a long time!

March takes us on a trip up north to The Beauty in Canada. The featured company is Skin Essence Organics. It’s non-gmo, gluten-free, fair trade, cruelty-free, with no preservatives, chemicals, or filters. It is Leaping Bunny certified which is the Canadian organization that certifies cruelty-free products. Here are the products.
The Fresh-Facial Cleanser ($20.11) smells Amazing! It has a wonderful lemony-peppermint scent because it contains lemongrass oil and peppermint oil. No synthetic fragrances! The cleanser removes all the yucky stuff on your face including dirt, makeup and oils that can lead to breakouts. The cleanser felt luxurious on my hand.
The Ocular Eye Serum ($17.13) is specifically formulated for the eye area and protects the delicate skin from chemicals in makeup along with air pollution. It works in reducing fine lines, puffiness, and dark circles. The lightweight formula feels refreshing and absorbs quickly into the skin. I like that it as a topper on it. Most product claim you need a pea size. They aren’t lying. A little goes a looooog way.
The Nourish Facial Moisturizer (combination/Aging Skin) ($23.84) is a serum that I can’t wait to try! The Rosehip oil and Neroli oil is what makes this serum great for aging skin along with the Vitamin C. I am a fiend when it comes to serums! I never realized how good they are for your face.

You know I’ve been in a funk since I neglected to share my FAVORITE box. The Cat Lady Box.

Right after I got this box I straight away subscribed! 🙂 It was going to be just for me, but when you are owned by four cats, ME, doesn’t exist. I’m OK with that though.
Each box comes with a sweet letter from Dorian and an amazing card designed by different artists. The other side contains information on the contents of the box. This month’s artist is BZTAT. (pronounced bee-zee-tat) A devoted animal lover who has five felines of her own.
June’s inaugural box came with the cutest tote bag from the San Francisco Bay area’s Living In The Meow. There was also a coupon for X amount off a purchase. My card got drug off somewhere. I suppose next time I clean under something I’ll find it. RV$ 28
Next is a cuff designed exclusively for CLB. This Crazy Cat Lady stamped cuff is by Designs by Marlayna. Owner Marlayna Jackson. I love that it’s lightweight and easily adjustable. As long as my cats weren’t around to attempt to bite at it, it stayed on. RV $14
This next item was not a hit. “Black Cat” Artisan Perfume Mini Spritzer Bottle by Wylde Ivy. RV $4.25
Dark and secretive, the elusive Black Cat mesmerizes all in it’s path. A rich and seductive fragrance blend of black vanilla, exotic spices, white patchouli, and musk topped off with a hint of sugar dust and jasmine petals.
They lost me at patchouli. I gag at the hint of it. ;-(

Goodnip 100% Organic Catnip. RV $5 but Elvira says it’s Purrriceless.
“Look Who’s Talking” Cat Toy. Ok this bird is insane! It’s infused with catnip AND it makes hella realistic noises when SMACKED around. We have to hide it from Lucien. More so because he prefers to play at night. He’s not a gentle boy either. It sounds like a bird/rock is hitting our walls. OY! He’s happy though and leaves the plants alone, so that’s what counts, right? RV $5.99

Website Changes
As I’ve posted before I’d had a rough 2015 and my blogs (I have a few) kind of died. I’m currently in the process of Changing the name and redoing a few things. I have SO many posts that are drafted, but I’m waiting on updates before I publish them. I apologize in advance that many of the posts will be from boxes I got over the summer. They are from companies that graciously sent me a free one for review purposes and I fully intend on honoring that.
I’m so excited for the changes and being back on the blogging adventure. I’ve missed sharing all the wonderful boxes I’ve discovered. It’s amazing how much the industry has grown since I got my first Allure and GlossyBox.
