I took a break from  Conscious Box for a while. They just went downhill. Now they have two options, a Tasters’s box (5-8 items) for $9.95/mo and a Regular size (8-12 items) for $19.96/mo. I just had to give it a go. Curiosity got the best of me.

This is the first month of the Taster’s Box.

In addition I got an envelope filled with various coupons for the products in this box. It was a nice variation of products (the box) but I don’t know if I’ll continue with it. I can get a better box for $9 with products I’ll actually use.

Okashi Connection is a Japanese Candy subscription that just launched now May.

You get a pound of candy that is seasonal/limited run or just only found in Japan. The first thing I saw when I opened the box was a FULL bag of Raspberry Kit Kats. My head about exploded! I must say that are very NOM.

There wasn’t a card or anything that explained what was in the box. They did put a slip of paper inside with a web address and password so you could learn about all of your goodies. I didn’t mind. The only thing I cared about was the CANDY!

Mixed Berry Choco caramel corn ~ This is a limited edition release of caramel corn, that they say isn’t like caramel corn.

Cider Gumi ~ Tasted just like cider.

Match Cream Collon ~ Green Tea filled cookies.

Fue Ramune ~Whistle candy.  You are supposed to whistle through the life savers looking candy. It comes with a plastic spinning top. TOO FUN!

Pie no Mi ~ Tiny chocolate filled pastries.  One suggestion is to heat them up.

Matcha Country Ma’am ~ Another Green Tea filled treat.

Premium Umaibo ~ Camembert and Mozzarella poofed stick. Like a large cheeto. I’ve had something similar. Oh so yummy!

Sour Plum Bubble Gum ~  Per the picture there are 3 pieced of gum inside. One is sweet, one is really sour and the 3rd is SUPER sour. *giggle* I can’t wait to try these!

Ninjin ~ Carrot looking package… Ninjin means “Carrot” There is nothing carrot about this though. It’s little puffy corn cereal tasting.

KIRBY!!! Mix & Match Gum ~ Red – apple, Orange – banana (joke), Blue – soda, Yellow – yogurt, and Black – mystery.

ORGLAMIX ~ Loose Eyeshadow in Blue Moon Beach (light blue) I’m afraid to open these, but from what I can see in the jar they seem real pigmented and nice. **There is also a code for 20% off my first order with this company.

Nabi Color ~  Nail polish. Pastel Orange. ICK though I like trying companies I’ve never seen before.

Tarte ~ Amazonian Clay Corrective Wand. OOOH Super excited to try this! The shade is “light” so it just might work with me.

Stars Makeup Haven ~ Lip Gloss Suite 7. Pink shade that goes on sheer. Just a tad bit sticky, but not too bothersome. It has a nice scent as well. I’ll keep it! This is another company that’s new to me.

So overall, Luna For You is turning out to hold their own in the Sub Box world. I am just so intrigued by companies I’ve never heard of. I shall take them for a spin again next month and see if they continue down this promising path.

Vasanti ~ Kajal Extreme Intense Eye Pencil in Electric Navy ($18) BEATIFUL but blue eyeliner isn’t for me. So so tempted to try this though. It looks soooooo smooth.

Anastasia Beverly Hills ~ Lash Genius Waterproof Topcoat ($12.16):  This is a a clear mascara that you put on over your normal mascara to make it waterproof. GENUIS INDEED! oh and it’s Paraben FREE!

RUFFIAN Endless Summer Collection Nail Polish Trio ($26.50): These colors are exclusive to Birchbox!! Endless Love (Pink)  Blue Lagoon (Blue) &  Sahara (Sand) These pictures do not do them justice!

Stephanie Johnson ~ Mermaid Mirror ($22) I am so in love with this mirror! Designed exclusively for Birchbox. I love how mine is more purple than blue. (shades vary) I also love the pattern variation on mine.

Atelier Cologne ~ Cédrat Enivrant Cologne Absolue ($7.88): WOW  I really really like this.  It’s described as a citrus scent with notes of lime with Moroccan cedrat, juniper and mint.  Summer in a bottle. NO DOUBT!

It’s IPSY time! This month’s theme is “Pretty In Paradise” and once again I love the bag! It was designed by Rebecca Minkoff. I learned that there were 16 product variations and each subscriber got five products this month.

Marc Anthony ~ Dream Waves Beach Spray. I think I’m one of the few girls in the world that could care less about beach waves. This is going in my trade pile.

NYX ~ Butter Gloss, Creme Brulee’. I got this in another sub last month and surprisingly like it. I’m glad I got a different shade to play with.

OFRA ~ Universal Eyebrow pencil.

Realtree ~ eau de parfum for her. This reminds me of something and I can’t think of what it is. It’s driving me crazy. I like it though. 🙂 Per the website “it opens up with the sweet taste of pomegranate, a hint of persimmon and an exotic scent of orchids.” I want the full size!

Be A Bombshell ~ Lash out Mascara in Black  OMG it smells sooooooooooo bad. I had to toss it. It made my eyes water. NOT. EVEN. JOKING! I was really excited about this too. I’m burnt out on lip crayons and wanted to try other products from Be A Bombshell.

The Realtree was the winner this month and made up for the stinky mascara. YES it’s that good!

Organix ~ Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner ($0.30) UGH I hate foil packets, BUT I’ve been wanting to try this “flavor” since I’ve seen it hit the shelves. I love love love coconut!

Vita Bath ~ Body Wash in Wild Red Cherry ($1.33) THIS SMELLS AMAZING! I’m totally going to buy a full size bottle when this is gone.

Glam Natural ~ Mascara, Black ($8) Vegan and Gluten free. Interesting….

Eslor ~ Introductory Collection Calming Kit ($2.38 + $2.80 + $3.80 + $6.50 = $15.48 total)  This is a little sample of some of Eslor’s “all-star” products: Soothing Refiner & Cleanser, Replenishing Scrub, Comforting Mask, and a Soothing Cream.

I am beyond happy with this month’s box. I wish I would have ordered two!
