It’s IPSY time! This month’s theme is Beauty Candy.  I’m so-so on this month’s bag. The color is more springish then fall, but then again it does make you think of candy. ;-P

Figs & Rouge ~ ($6) Shea Butter Enriched Limited Edition Hand Creams are deliciously fragrant & indulgent. I got Mango Mandarin.

Épicé International ~ ($9) Purifying Exfoliant. A unique exfoliant which removes excess dirt and dead skin cells all while activating collagen production and hydrating your skin.

Nicole by OPI ~ ($5.99) Nail Laquer in Feeling Very Cherry. LOVE IT!

ModelCo ~ ($20) VOLUMEYES Extreme Black Mascara. The intensely black, volumizing mascara separates, coats and curls each lash to voluptuous perfection. One coat and lashes are defined. Two coats and lashes are even more luscious, curled and dramatic.

Starlooks ~ Lip Gloss in Guilty Pleasure ($??)

I actually liked everything in this bag. Sizes and all. 🙂

Nailed Kit ~ Halloween themed nail art ($8)

Mine Chalkboard ~ Soy Message Ceramic Candle ($24) This is really cool if you burn candles. (I have 5 naughty cats so I don’t) I opened the box and was bummed to smell that it is AMAZING pomegranate. One of my favorite scents. The candle is black and comes with chalk for you to leave your message.

Butter London ~ Wink Eye Pencil Crayon in Earl Grey ($18) This will be interesting to try, since when I think/shop Butter London I just purchase their polishes.

Dean & Deluca ~ Pumpkin Spice Maltballs  ($5.50)

k. hall designs ~ Shea Butter / Olive Oil Soap ($10) Smells real nice. What threw me was It’s listed on the card as a Special Extra and “Sponsored by Progresso.” M Kay?

Isaac Jacobs ~ Acrylic Magnet Photo Frame ($36) This is a very fancy frame held together by magnets. At first I thought you had to unscrew screws to place your photos in. Oh and it’s double sided. This is my favorite item in the box.

Happy Socks ($12) Cute design and pretty comfy.

Most  boxes have coupons/giftcards but this month PS when way out.

This box came with coupons for Deal & Deluca, Marchesa Voyage collection, and $40 off your first BJB Express box. (BJB Express is a subscription service similar to Stitch Fix, with more of a denim focus).

There is also a Progresso Wardrobe Makeover contest info card.

So there was not a “High” end item and the rest is basically gift-able. I’m still happy with the total box vibe after all.

Enriched with rose flower, cherry blossom, apricot, aloe vera, cucumber, and green tea extracts, it’s extremely gentle to skin and scented with a sweet fruity fragrance.”  I’m afraid to try these only because I love the lip masks so much, I don’t need another vice that I can’t just walk into a local store and get. LOL

Shara Shara ~ Kissing Sugar Lip Scrub 10g full size ($7) “The grains of sugar and walnut shells work as natural scrubs, gently rubbing away any dead skin cells on your lip. This buttery Kissing Sugar Lip Scrub is also enriched with honey extracts, avocado oil, argan spinosa kernel oil, and various vegetable oil complex which deliver an intensive moisture and nutrition care for softer suppler lips.” EH I want to eat it. LOL

Hope Girl ~ Tinted Lip Balm in 02 Love Peach ~ 5g full size ($12) “Scented with a delicate peach fragrance, Hope Girl’s Tinted Lip Balm is both a lip tint and a lip balm. While the co-enzyme Q-10 and shea butter formula deeply nourishes your chapped lips, the lovely pink tint will stain your lips with a long-lasting, colorful radiance!”  Luckily there was no peach tint or I would have tossed it. It is sheer on me. 🙂

ddung Family ~ Foam Cleansing Cream in 01 Fruits ~ 120ml full size ($12) “The Family Fruits Foam Cleansing Cream is enriched with various fruit extracts – plum, grapefruit,peach, apple, tangerine, and blueberry – and is extremely gentle and moisturizing while it’s abundant, fine bubbles work to remove all skim impurities clogging up your pores.”  YAY This will be my first bubble cleanser. I’m so excited to try it!

Youngwoosa ~ Oh! It’s Lovely and Soft Cream  45g full size ($47) “Youngwoosa chose to only concentrate on the ability of its moisturizing cream to instantly fill in deep hydration and to prevent moisture loss by creating a protective barrier over your skin. Shara Shara ~ Fairy’s Make-up Synergy Sun Cream SPF45 PA++  30ml full size  ($21) “The Fairy’s Make-Up Synergy Sun Cream not only provides a strong protection against UV-A and UV-B but it also creates an amazing synergy effect with base makeup and works to balance out uneven skin tone and texture. Plus, its light formulae absorbs quickly and adheres to skin without feeling heavy or sticky.”  I will use this at home, before leaving, but I’m not going to carry it around with me. Kind of creepy and impractical.

This is a cute little box and even at full price, it’s a good value. I’m going to keep it for another month or so out of curiosity.

Oribe ~ Signature Shampoo/Conditioner foil packets X 2.  I’m not going to complain about foil packets on this one. I got two so that’s plenty to give it a good go on my hair.

Super tiny Lord & Berry ~ Paillettes Eye Pencil. I think it was Ipsy that tossed one of these in their bag recently. Again, irritated. Not big enough to use properly or to swap.

Dr. Jart+ Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm. I love Dr. Jart and even though I’m anti-BB cream I will try this. It’s a premium formula five-in-one primer, serum, moisturizer, SPF, and sheer tint. It uses exotic caviar extract and other actives to tame problem complexions.

Essentiel Elements ~ Wake Up Rosemary Shower Gel. This is a good size sample I’m happy to say. It smells really nice too! It’s the mint that gets me. I like minty stuff in the shower to help wake me up.

suki® ~ exfoliate foaming cleanser. I love love love this scrub. I got a full size a year or so ago and it’s already gone. Lately there have been samples in various boxes and I’m always happy to get them. This scrub isn’t harsh at all and leaves my skin feeling super soft!

Paula’s Choice ~ Skin Balancing Antioxidant Serum with Retinol. I’m excited to try this. I like Paula’s Choice products. They do what they say they’ll do.

I’m happy with my box this month.  I’m sadly getting used to it shipping late too. You win some, you lose some. 🙂

Beauteque BB  Bag is new subscription service. They are A US-based company, based in New Jersey,with an “East meets West” philosophy. They source from the best products on the international market.  They pre-released bags in July as test run for their official service launch in January. **Though this is September’s bag, I did not order it until October. It’s not a reoccurring sub right now so I forgot all about it.

The bag was super cute but had a horrible plastic smell so I promptly tossed it. I had to wash my hands several times to get the smell out.The contents however, were fantastic!

There were 6 products this month, 3 were customizable.

The cleanser choices were aloe, cherry, lemon or green tea. By the tine I ordered my only choice was Holika Holika ALOE Cleansing Foam ` ($14)

The lash choices were daily, glitter, or special. I chose daily.

the lip gloss choices were pink, cherry or mango. I chose Cherry but got a balm type cherry instead of the tubes everyone else got. I still like it though. It smells really nice.

My FAVORITE item The Face Shop Cherry Cherry Lips Modeling Gel Patch  ($7). I am so addicted to these. They leave your lips and the area around them so soft. I have sensitive skin and was worried I’d break out, but I didn’t. I’m on the hunt for more of these!

The pink tube is Mizon Multi Function Formula Snail Recovery Gel Cream ~ ($16).  I tried a dab on my hand and it didn’t smell like anything and it was pretty softening. I like that it’s a gel, but right now I have a favorite moisturizer that I want to use up before I open anything else up.

Beauteque Minerals Cleanser Brush ~ ($35) is to be used with the cleanser we got. It’s really soft and left my face feeling clean and fresh.

Aside from the actual bag, this was a great month. I loved everything in it and can’t wait until they start their reoccurring sub so I never forget to order a bag.

It’s been a while since I took my Julep monthly box. But I have been buying extras here and there. This month I finally couldn’t resist and took the Modern Beauty selection with two extras.
